By downloading, installing, or using the Chroni mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Chroni is a personal finance tool that helps you track expenses, manage budgets, and set savings goals by converting monetary values into time equivalents based on your hourly earnings. The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
Local Data Storage
All financial data you enter into the App is stored exclusively on your device. Chroni does not operate cloud servers for user data storage. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Uninstalling the App or resetting your device may result in permanent data loss.
Free and Premium Tiers
The App offers both free and premium tiers. Free users may see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Premium features, when available, may be offered through in-app purchases.
Advertisements
Free-tier users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized or non-personalized based on your consent preferences. You can manage your ad preferences through the consent dialog presented in the App or through your device settings.
No Financial Advice
The App is a budgeting and tracking tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The time-cost calculations are illustrative estimates based on the income and working hours you provide. You should consult qualified professionals for financial advice.
Accuracy of Information
The App performs calculations based on data you provide. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of these calculations. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your inputs and the resulting outputs.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Chroni and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its associated services • Use the App to transmit harmful code or content
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHRONI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
